The Broad Strokes was formed by Richmond musicians who all met playing together at various funk, soul, blues and jazz jams. It makes sense that the band blends elements from all of these genres to reimagine songs with their own unique touch. You can expect to hear an explosive beat and shredding guitars for one song, and then soft, dulcet tones and soulful sax on the next. 

The group includes: Nico Salazar (vocals/ guitar), Nick Valle (lead guitar), Andrew Huynh (keys/ sax), Tommy Carman (bass, backing vocals), and Cameron Patterson (drums). Also featuring Eli Krash (keys).
